Overview
Wow, I just love divine appointments! Don’t you? The other day, I had a lunch meeting with Annamarie and another lovely lady. I won’t say her name at this time.
Now, this was set up to be a normal lunch to talk about the ministry. We started talking, and it was going pretty well when, all of a sudden, I felt a drip of water hit my arm. It surprised me and immediately I thought, “This meeting is anointed!” I know it sounds kind of strange or whatever, but hear me out. We were talking so much that we all forgot to order our food! The waitress came over, and we scrambled to pick up the menu to see what we wanted to order. I ordered the spaghetti, and oh, man, I should have taken a picture to share with you! Okay, I will next time! LOL
So we were trying to see how we all could get together and get this ministry going, like a physical one to help the youth especially.
I love how God orchestrates. By the way, I’m taking no credit for this. So it turns out that this other person has a shop, and not only that, but space in the back for a tent! Not only that, they already have a tent!
So what I’m saying is that this is really happening! We are getting a physical tent where we can pray and minister to the people — to you! Now, it’s still in the early planning, but, yeah, God is doing this!
So while we were talking, Annamarie felt a drop of water on her arm as well! God was there! So apparently we were talking pretty loud, and a guy came on over and introduced himself and said, “I couldn’t help but overhear you guys talking about the Lord,” so we shook hands and I gave him our website and some links to go by.
You could just tell this was a divine appointment! Glory to God!
2 Corinthians 2:12
“Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ’s gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,”
I mean, it’s like God was just opening doors! God wants this, and I can’t wait to finally meet all of you when you come and visit Virginia Beach. Glory to God.
So we had a fabulous meal, exchanged numbers, and went outside. While outside, we prayed for the other lady, and while praying, there was a guy in a truck about to leave. When he saw us praying, he waited for us to get done, and then as he drove off, he said, “I felt that prayer!” C’mon, God, that is powerful!
Then the nice lady left and Annamarie, my wife, and I were talking, and it began to rain as if God was blessing this! We know God IS blessing this! Hallelujah!
Let us pray
Father, I thank You that favor surrounds me like a shield. I thank You for the doors that You are opening at this time that no man can shut. This is the beginning of something special, something great for the kingdom of God, for Virginia Beach, for Virginia, for America, for the nations, in Jesus’ name. Amen!
